This shot is fuzzy but the only one I got inside the actual recording room during a very rushed tour of famed RCA Studio B, where everyone from Elvis Presley on down cut tracks. Reportedly 47,000 songs have been recorded there since it opened in late 1957, which is a lot of product. If you look closely, you can see how the wall panels are not flat — this is to keep the sound bouncing around the room, rather than creating a flat surface (both visually and aurally). The studio is still in use today.
