Look closely and you can see a U.S. Navy F-16 flying over the Mississippi River as part of Navy Week celebrations. The Blue Angels were in town for a two-day show that weekend and our captain had teased us that they would be flying over downtown New Orleans as we disembarked the ship. But alas, we got just the one jet. Fine by me. One jet or six, that's a sound that always makes me smile.
