I was dying for a breath mint while walking around the Garden District so figured I'd try Howard's Violet brand I found in a CVS. Warning to anyone who hasn't tried this brand: they're awful and taste like soap. Very unpleasant. Sandi and I got a surprise while watching "Mad Men" a few days later when one of the characters pulled out the very same pack of Howard's Violet mints.
