Watch the amazing stats that pop up throughout the video and I think you'll agree we can safely say Dane is the most famous alum of The Bakersfield Californian, where he worked a few years ago. It's fame that couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

As if 550 million views of his work isn't enough, DaneBoe has taken a big step toward moving beyond being just a web celeb: He's creating six TV episodes of his web show "The Annoying Orange."
The big question, as anyone who has seen "The Annoying Orange" might guess, is: Can this work at a half hour? I mean, that orange is very funny -- but also annoying -- and 22 minutes of grating fruit might get old. I can see this working very well in an "Adult Swim" format as opposed to creaky network TV.
